1. Collection and use of data when creating a profile or concluding a rental contract

We collect your personal information when you provide it during a booking, when you contact us (for example, via the contact form or by sending an email), or when creating a profile. In the relevant forms, the requested information is visible to you. We use your information to set up contracts and process your bookings. After your account is deleted, your data will no longer be accessible and will be deleted after the mandatory retention period, unless you have expressly consented to further use of it. You can delete your account at any time either by emailing the contact address below or by clicking “delete your profile permanently” in your profile. Here is the list of information we collect and the reasons for use:
  • First and last name (insurance and remuneration)
  • Date of birth (minimum age requirement for renting and for listing a vehicle)
  • Nationality (rental insurance and customer service management)
  • Address (customer service contact, bank transfer, insurance) — Shared with the renter upon booking confirmation, not visible to the public
  • Phone number (customer service contact, renter/owner contact) — Shared with the renter upon booking confirmation, not visible to the public
  • Currency (price display, payment, and invoicing)
  • Bio/intro (trust in the rental relationship — optional)
When you book, we ask for your destination. This allows us to verify that insurance can cover you throughout your trip, including if you cross multiple countries. To insure your rental, we also need personal documents. These documents are not publicly visible and are used for internal processing only:
  • Identity card
  • Driver’s license
  • Proof of address


2. Collection and use of data when publishing a listing

To publish a listing, information about your vehicle and yourself is requested. Some information is visible on the site to help the renter choose a campervan or converted van. Other information is not visible and is used to insure your vehicle properly or to process your payment: About the vehicle:

  • Identity card (for professional owners: ID of the manager or legal representative)

  • Insurance certificate (green card)
  • Roadworthiness test
  • Bank details
  • Authorization to rent (when the renter/holder and the owner are two different persons)
  • Kbis extract (less than 3 months old) for professional owners
  • “Beneficial Owners Declaration” document for professional owners (required by our partner MangoPay)


3. Data sharing to conclude a rental contract

To conclude the contract, we share your information with the owner. To process your payments, we share your bank/card details with the authorized payment institution (MangoPay). This institution may store your details. In that case, the institution’s privacy policy applies.

4. Use of newsletter data

By subscribing to our newsletter, you authorize us to use the data you provide to send it to you regularly by email. You can unsubscribe at any time either by emailing the contact address below or via a link provided in the newsletter.

5. Use of cookies

To make visiting our website enjoyable and to enable certain functions, we use cookies. These are small text files stored on your computer or smartphone. Some cookies we use are deleted after your browsing session when you close your browser (“session cookies”). Other cookies remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser when you visit our site again (“persistent cookies”). You can configure your browser to be informed each time cookies are used. You can also decide individually whether to accept them. If you refuse the use of cookies, some features of our site may be limited.

6. Use of Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (www.google.com). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable analysis of your use of the site, such as “cookies” (text files stored on your computer). The information generated about your use of the site is usually transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there. Thanks to IP anonymization on this site, your IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or other contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. The anonymized IP address cannot be merged with other Google data.
